In Tashkent, restrictions have been imposed on the working hours of shopping centres and amusement parks in a bid to save some energy.
According to the press service of the capital's administration, to provide uninterrupted electricity and gas supply to residential areas, all trade and service outlets, entertainment centres and amusement parks, except for food stores and catering services are subject to limit their activities to 7 hours, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
All appliances and heating equipment must be turned off; electricity and gas consumption stopped.
