The Ministry of Pre-school and School Education of Uzbekistan informed that kindergarten employees must be at their workplaces even during additional day-offs.
The statement of the Cabinet of Ministers, on January 10-18, all preschools across Uzbekistan were sent on a temporary vacation. And yet, the regional governing bodies were empowered to allow the centres to operate depending on the conditions and heating system.
According to the message published by the Ministry, all employees have to be at their work regardless of the local authorities' decision.
"Additional vacation days announced by the system are only for children. All preschool personnel must be in place during the additional vacation period and prepare new handouts, methods of teaching, and inactive games, except the kitchen staff,” the ministry message reads.
