More than 19,500 day hospital beds in the ambulatory polyclinic system will provide an opportunity to receive treatment without leaving home. 1257 multidisciplinary and family polyclinics, 1080 family doctor points and 1002 neighbourhood medical points provide medical services to the population.
Clinics of republican, regional, district and city hospitals, specialized medical centers, and higher medical educational institutions are working as usual. Doctors and nurses work 24 hours a day in the Republican scientific center of emergency medical care, its 13 branches in the regions, 181 emergency medical reception departments in the districts, and inter-district centers for joint injuries and acute vascular diseases.
2,755 emergency medical teams across Uzbekistan provide services day and night based on calls from residents. In addition, 227 maternity and 245 children's treatment facilities are working continuously.
