On January 2, flight KC 128 of the Air Astana airline flying from Tashkent to Almaty was hit by severe turbulence (air vortex). The press service of Air Astana company provided additional information on the incident.
Airbus A321 was carrying 134 passengers and a toddler. Luckily, none of the 9 crew members was injured. Two passengers were provided medical assistance who are currently in one of the hospitals in Almaty.
According to the preliminary information of the doctors, there were no fractures. Seven people were injured as a result of the turbulence incident.
