The news spread on the social network that the UzASBO program has been malfunctioning for six days. It was reported that many operations in the republic were stopped and panic arose in the relevant group.
In particular, lawyer and blogger Bahadir Ahmedov writes on his Telegram channel:
There is a malfunction in the exchange of documents through the UzASBO system throughout Uzbekistan. What is going on? Will the Ministry of Finance react?" he wrote.
Linguist and blogger Eldor Asanov also shared his view on the situation.
“Many transactions in the republic have stopped resulting in payment delays. I couldn't find any other information about it, but it is truly worrying,” Asanov said.
The Information Technology Center under the Ministry of Finance reacted to this situation on its Telegram channel.
“Dear UzASBO system users,
The system outages are happening due to server issues. We may inform you that technical work has been done to eliminate malfunctions. We apologize for the inconvenience. Also, you can contact the relevant regional units through these internal numbers regarding your additional questions regarding the system's operation."
But this message was deleted from the centre channel. Internal numbers of regional divisions are listed on the Central track according to the UzASBO software.
In general, UzASBO malfunctions are common. For example, in June, the payment to teachers in Uzbekistan was delayed due to the malfunctions observed in the system.
