Another construction company in Tashkent was found to have killed trees. This was reported by the press service of the State Ecology Committee.
The State Ecology Committee and the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan found out that trees near Dostlik Park on Shota Rustaveli Street, Yakkasaroy District, Tashkent were illegally cut off at midnight near. The Yakkasaroy district administration and district prosecutor's office in connection with the district internal affairs department staff conducted a joint study and detected 6 decimated trees by Vinera Tower construction company.
Apparently, the company tried to move the vegetation to another place without permission and breaking the law.
Despite the warning given by the ecology department of Yakkasaray district on September 27, 2022, that recorded healthy 22 perennial trees, the firm neglected the prescription and blatantly terminated 6 trees.
According to articles 32 and 37 of the Law "On the Protection and Use of Plant Life", the authorities issued 218 million 370 thousand soums fine as damage caused to the flora.
The materials were documented and submitted to the district prosecutor's office.
According to the report, the same company illegally cut down 6 trees in this area on March 23, 2022, and caused damage to the flora in the amount of 430 million 515 thousand soums.
This situation was properly managed by the Tashkent City Environmental Department and presented to the district prosecutor's office, and on September 16, the decision of the Tashkent Inter-District Economic Court was issued to recover the damage.
