On November 17. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov held a meeting with his Tajik counterpart Sirojiddin Mukhriddin in Samarkand, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
The diplomats expressed their readiness to coordinate efforts for the comprehensive implementation of high-level agreements emphasizing the importance of active dialogue through parliaments, governments and line ministries.
It was proposed to further economic cooperation, increase trade indicators, support direct relations between the regions of the two countries, and implement cooperation projects in energy, industry, and agriculture via the funds of the Uzbekistan-Tajikistan Investment Company.
