Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on Tuesday (November 8), received a delegation chaired by Governor of Saint Petersburg Alexander Beglov.
The meeting focused on creating modern trade and logistic infrastructure to increase mutual trade turnover. Besides, the attention was drawn to promoting industrial cooperation projects of leading enterprises, deepening cooperation in housing public utilities and town planning, and continuing cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
It was also agreed to prepare and adopt a ‘road map’ of mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan’s regions and Russia’s port city on the Baltic sea.
