In Washington, Uzbekistan’s delegation, represented by Minister of Justice Ruslanbek Davletov and Deputy Foreign Minister Furkat Sidikov, held talks with Eric Green, Special Assistant to President Joe Biden, on the ongoing reforms.
The United States highly appreciates Uzbekistan’s work implemented in Afghanistan, believing that it is Tashkent that today is the crucial player in stabilizing the situation in a neighboring country.
In addition, the importance of the Central Asian region for Washington is stressed, as Uzbekistan is one of the key CA partners of the White House. In turn, US Assistant Secretary of State Donald Lu is visiting the Central Asian countries.
