The Consul General of Uzbekistan in Rostov-on-Don, Burkhan Alikulov, met the rector of the Don State Technical University (DSTU) Bisarion Meskhi to discuss the prospects of staff training and academic exchange, "Dunyo" news agency reports.
Meskhi expressed his satisfaction with the level of cooperation with Bukhara State University and the International University of Tourism "Silk Road". There was an exchange of views on the opening of the DDTU representative office in these universities of Uzbekistan. He also proposed establishing academic cooperation with the National University of Uzbekistan and the Tashkent University of Information Technologies.
DSTU is the only higher education institution in Russia that has a post-graduate degree in "veterinary medicine" that proposed to develop joint projects in the field of veterinary medicine. Besarion Meskhi noted that taking into account the relevance of the field, this direction may be suitable for Uzbekistan.
