Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Vladimir Norov has paid an official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic to meet with his colleague Jeenbek Kulubaev. The parties discussed the development of bilateral relations and the measures aimed at expanding and deepening political, trade, economic, and investment ties. In addition, foreign ministers shared their views on regional and international issues.
As a result, the high-level officials reached several agreements that include the program of cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries for 2023-2024, an Agreement on collaboration between the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the International Institute of Central Asia, Memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic and the UzArchive Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and many others.
The two ministers also adopted a joint statement.
Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov also received Minister Vladimir Norov.
