The Louvre, the world's most visited museum and famous Paris landmark, is to feature two cultural heritage exhibitions in Uzbekistan.
The first exhibition on 'Treasures of the Oases of Uzbekistan' At the Crossroads of Caravan Routes' will be held from November 23 this year to March 6 and showcase some objects of monumental and easel art, carved details of palaces, wall paintings, and arts and crafts things from the Silk Road passing through the southern part of present-day Uzbekistan.
The second exhibition, 'On the Road to Samarkand. Colors and Splendors of Uzbekistan', is to be held at the Arab World Institute from November 23 to June 4 and display over 300 exhibits from the republic's museums, including collections of textile, costume, foot and headwear, traditional jewelry, gold-embroidered chapans, and other objects.
