On October 25, the Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, Jamshid Khojayev met the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (TDT) Baghdad Amreyev.
The top officials discussed the preparation for an upcoming major event, considering the first summit of the 11th meeting of the Ministers of Economy and Trade of the TDT, to be held in Uzbekistan, in November 2022.
They also expressed an interest in signing the Agreement on the establishment of a joint investment fund and speeding up the process of placing it in Tashkent.
Specific measures for the implementation of the initiatives to establish the "Scientific-Research Center for Trade Cooperation of the Turkish States" and the "Center for Engineering and Technologies" have been determined. The importance of implementing these initiatives to further strengthen the trade-economic and investment relations between the TDT countries was emphasized.
