"I am very happy to be with you at the screening of the documentary film "Uzbekistan: Time journey through Central Asia"," says Bouchez.
The ambassador noted that through this film and exhibition, the French public will have the opportunity to get to know the rich cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.
"Your country is not so familiar to the French until now many people know that it is the most populous country in Central Asia, it is rapidly developing and highly respected. Our people have heard a lot about your great cities like Samarkand and Bukhara, and they dream of visiting them and seeing with their own eyes the places where the caravan routes passed. They also dream of discovering all the treasures of cultural heritage that your people have preserved so far," says the French ambassador.
According to her, the large number of tourists coming to Samarkand from France is also related to this, their number is increasing day by day. For example, 20,000 French tourists visit Uzbekistan per year.
The ambassador thanked everyone who worked on the film, first of all, its director Mr. Darakchiyev and the producer of Le Poisson Volant company Mrs. Sophie Gupi.
