Flydubai, the Emirati government-owned low-cost airline, has been granted the flight operation between Dubai-Namangan, the city of Namangan administration informs.
On August 30, 2022, on the basis of the Agreement on air traffic between the governments of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates, the 'O‘aviatsiya', Uzbekistan's civil aviation agency, issued an operational permit for Fly Dubai to carry out regular flights to Uzbekistan that includes a new Dubai-Namangan-Dubai route.
This is the third airport of the Emirati airline that has received permission for regular flights in Uzbekistan. Currently, the low-cost airline operates flights to Tashkent and Samarkand airports on Boeing-737 aircraft.
