The Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan has adopted new measures “On the efficiency of the system of supplying natural and liquefied gas to consumers," Norma, the official website informs.
In order to improve the gas supply system and ensure the effective use of existing capacities, the Uzbek authorities are planning to install an automated system of natural gas control and calculation in multi-story buildings in the regions not connected to the central heat supply, in October 2022.
In the Navoi and Bukhara regions and in the city of Tashkent, 11,500 multi-storey houses connected to centralized heat supply and with low natural gas consumption will have electronic gas meters installed in common gas pipes at the entrance of these houses.
In addition, an automated system will be launched to enable the installation and monitoring of natural gas supply to consumers based on the technological chain "gas distribution station - district (city) border - entrance to large plots - consumer".
The document provides the information on:
- The target indicators of the transition of the gas supply system to the two-stage system of households located on land plots in the territories of the republic, in 2022-2024;
- Target indicators of an electronic topographical map and attributive data of devices of gas networks in the "Hududgaztaminot" system in 2022;
- Target indicators of measures for modernization and reconstruction of the gas supply system of "Hududgaztaminot" in 2022-2024;
- "Road map" on the training of employees in the gas supply system in specialized companies and centres of foreign countries, formation of corporate management skills.
