The number of flights of Russians to Uzbekistan for work and business purposes has increased by more than five times in the last six months. "Kommersant" reports.
According to Aviasales for Business (b2b.aviasales.ru), the number of business bookings in - Kazakhstan (by 444%), Uzbekistan (by 379%), and Belarus (by 353%) - is growing exponentially.
The volume of bookings to Israel has skyrocketed hitting 743% since the beginning of 2022 compared to the same period last year.
Currently, the most popular countries for "Aeroklub" (Russian service) business partners are Kazakhstan, Turkey, UAE, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Belarus, France, Israel, Azerbaijan and Italy.
According to Infoline, the majority of foreign travel has now become "compulsory", that is, it is carried out without a real business purpose.
According to the expert, the demand for such business flights is increasing due to the attempts of businessmen to solve problems related to currency exchange.
