The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan issued a statement which fully supports the resolute actions of the leadership of Uzbekistan to protect the constitutional system and law and order, national security and peace in the country in connection with the riot Karakalpakstan.
“We reaffirm that centuries-old wisdom and experience will serve to overcome the difficulties that have arisen with a long view, to ensure the consistent and stable development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the stability of state and public institutions.
As a close neighbour of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan expresses its readiness to connect with this country with ties of brotherhood, friendship and close cooperation, and to provide it with the necessary assistance and support”, the statement reads.
