Kamil Allamjonov is transitioning to another job after being relieved of his duties as the head of the Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration. An official announcement from the president's press service confirms this transition, although, information about his upcoming role has yet to be shared
In a farewell meeting, Saida Mirziyoyeva, assistant to the president, expressed gratitude to Allamjonov for his service during his tenure.
“The reason we are meeting with you today is that you will end your career as the head of the Information Department of the Presidential Administration. Over the past two years, you have approached all the assignments given by the president and implemented projects for the state and society,” she said. Mirziyoyeva acknowledged Allamjonov's contributions to the press and education systems.
Allamjonov thanked Mirziyoyeva and stated, “I am grateful for the opportunity to serve in the interest of our country, under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.”
He expressed his commitment to the goals set by the president and shared his plans to work in the private sector, focusing on attracting technologies and investments to key economic sectors.
The presidential press service recognized Allamjonov’s contributions to advancing freedom of speech in Uzbekistan, enhancing transparency in government institutions, and improving the public education system. Sherzod Asadov, spokesperson for the press service, noted Allamjonov's accomplishments and his work in implementing the president’s priorities.
Kamil Allamjonov was born in 1984 in Tashkent and holds degrees from the Uzbek State Institute of Arts and Culture and the Tashkent State University of Economics. His career includes roles in the government, such as head of the President’s press service and chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mass Media Support Fund. He had been serving as head of the Information Policy Department since August 2023.
