Uzbekistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, to discuss key aspects of the bilateral relationship and preparations for future high-level meetings.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of adhering to the principle of non-interference in each other’s internal affairs as a foundation for strengthening mutual trust.
In his statement following the talks, Minister Saidov noted that the agenda of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia remains broad, covering a wide range of areas. Both ministers held a comprehensive discussion on critical issues concerning their strategic partnership and agreed to continue maintaining an active dialogue in the spirit of their alliance.
