In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), OCHA confirmed the Netherlands’ donation of €15mn (approximately $16.1mn). This latest aid package reaffirms the Netherlands' commitment to supporting Afghanistan during its ongoing humanitarian crisis.
Since 2016, the Netherlands has contributed over €89mn to Afghanistan, making it the third-largest donor to the country, according to the U.N. The funds will help provide essential services and support for the most at-risk communities across Afghanistan.
