    Uzbekistan discusses collaboration with Toyota Tsusho Corporation

    Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov recently engaged in discussions with representatives from Toyota Tsusho Corporation (TTC), spearheaded by Hiroshi Yonenaga, Regional Chief Operating Officer for the Middle East, Central Asia, and the Caucasus, the Ministry of Economy and Finance reported. The agenda centered around fostering collaboration and advancing joint initiatives.

    The meeting, which took place in Uzbekistan, saw the presence of Deputy Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change Jusipbek Kazbekov, Acting Chairman of the Management Board of “Uzsuvtaminot” Dilshod Azimov, and Director of the Department of the Ministry of Economy and Finance Khurshed Mustafayev, alongside Abdukodir Yakubov. From the Japanese side, Hiroki Namikawa, Head of the Tashkent Representative Office of TTC, Hideki Nagase, Head of the company's representative office in Uzbekistan, and Nozimjon Khuzhaev, Acting Director of the Tashkent office, were present.

    Attention was devoted to several key areas primed for collaboration. Foremost among them was the development of a wind energy project in Uzbekistan, highlighting a commitment to sustainable energy solutions. This initiative aligns with global efforts toward renewable energy adoption and showcases a proactive approach to addressing environmental concerns.

    Additionally, discussions delved into the realm of the digital economy, emphasizing the potential for technological advancement and innovation. The exploration of digital avenues underscores a shared vision for leveraging technology to drive economic growth and enhance efficiency.

    Environmental stewardship emerged as a crucial aspect of the dialogue, with both parties emphasizing the importance of ecological conservation and the sustainable management of natural resources. Promising projects aimed at environmental protection were deliberated upon, reflecting a concerted effort towards fostering sustainability and mitigating environmental impact.

    Representatives from both sides expressed a resolute commitment to further collaboration and a shared optimism regarding future endeavors. The meeting served as a platform to reaffirm mutual dedication towards realizing impactful projects that contribute to the socio-economic development of Uzbekistan while aligning with global sustainability objectives.
