A prominent figure in the Russian business world, Alisher Usmanov, the founder of USM Holdings, experienced a significant decrease in his wealth by $2.8bn. His current fortune stands at $18.3bn, marking a notable downturn in his financial standing.
Andrey Melnichenko's Wealth Surges
In contrast, Andrey Melnichenko, the owner of EuroChem and the Siberian Coal Energy Company (SUEK), has witnessed a remarkable increase in his wealth. With a staggering growth of $5.3bn, Melnichenko's current capital amounts to $24.1bn, underscoring his thriving presence in the Russian business arena.

The Bloomberg Billionaires Index also sheds light on the wealthiest individuals in Russia, highlighting both gains and losses in their fortunes:
