Uzbek fintech Humans' 2023 financial results reveal a total revenue of $41.7 mn and a cumulative ecosystem earning of $114 mn over three years. The company’s turnover in 2023 was $984.2 mn, with December contributing $124.5 mn. Humans, integrating communication, banking, payment, transfer, and cashback services, has 1.1 mn customers using at least two services simultaneously, per the Humans official website. The fintech segment proliferates, with a 94.4% average annual revenue growth rate per customer over the last two years.
Humans are the only company in Uzbekistan to have developed an ecosystem based on a super app that combines financial and telecom services. The number of active clients of telecom services is 1.4 mn, and the number of customers regularly using C2C transfers and payments totaled 801,000 at the end of 2023.
The net revenue of Humans has shown consistent growth, reaching UZS 407.3 bn ($32.6 mn) in 2023 from UZS 247.2 bn ($19.8 mn) in 2021. The compound annual growth rate was nearly 30%.
More customers are using multiple services on the super-app, with the share of fintech users consistently increasing. In 2023, 40.2% of superapp’s clients actively used the services, up from 15.4% in 2021.
With millions of customers using Humans Superapp, the company relies on new technologies for customer service. An AI-based system processes a significant part of initial requests, solving most customer problems quickly.
