Turkmenistan Airlines reports having launched twice-weekly flights between Ashgabat and Ho Chi Minh City (Turkmenistan - Vietnam).
The flights will be operated with Boeing 777-200 LR aircraft. "This is of great importance in connection with the implementation of Turkmenistan's strategy to restore the Great Silk Road".
Turkmenistan Airlines is the country's only national carrier and flies to ten destinations in Europe and Asia.
The airline is a partner of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the Space Operations Council and the Interstate Aviation Committee.
