Next Steps in Collaboration
Following the constructive dialogue, both parties agreed to convene an online meeting involving representatives from the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan and the Cinematography Agency. This forthcoming meeting will provide a platform for detailed discussions on various aspects of the film project, including production logistics, creative vision, and cultural authenticity.
About Babur
Babur was the founder of the Mughal Empire in the Indian subcontinent. He was a descendant of Tamerlane and Genghis Khan through his father and mother respectively. Born in Andijan in the Fergana Valley (now in Uzbekistan), Babur was the eldest son of Umar Shaikh Mirza II (1456–1494, governor of Fergana from 1469 to 1494) and a great-great-great-grandson of Tamerlane.
Babur's Baburnama is a collection of memoirs, written in the Chagatai language and later translated into Persian, the usual literary language of the Mughal court, during the rule of emperor Akbar.
