AliExpress, the largest online platform in the CIS for selling consumer goods from China and other countries, has made significant strides in improving its services for customers in Uzbekistan. As of December, AliExpress has successfully integrated the UZCard and Humo payment systems, enabling all residents of Uzbekistan to pay for orders with these cards. Transactions are conveniently debited in the national currency, the soum.
This development comes as part of a broader effort to streamline and enhance the user experience on AliExpress. The platform boasts an assortment of about 200 mn unique product units, excluding variations in colour and size, with delivery options from China and other countries. With a total of approximately 300,000 sellers, AliExpress offers a vast array of choices for consumers.
In addition to the expanded payment options, AliExpress has also optimized its delivery process. By leveraging direct flights from China to Uzbekistan, the average delivery time for orders has been significantly reduced to 14 days. This expedited delivery service marks a substantial improvement from the previous average shipping time of 15 to 45 working days.
