Kazakh startup CerebraAI has made its entry into the Uzbekistan market, as announced on the project's Instagram page. The startup, affiliated with the Almaty A.I. Lab and specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) for diagnosing strokes, brings advanced medical technology to the healthcare landscape of Uzbekistan.
Established in 2020, CerebraAI gained notable recognition when, in the summer of 2021, it secured $1mn in funding from Freedom Holding Corp. The startup's commitment to advancing healthcare solutions received further validation when, in December 2022, the StartUs Insights platform ranked CerebraAI among the top five global projects for diagnosing brain diseases.
This fall, CerebraAI achieved another milestone by attracting a substantial investment of $4.1mn. The funding came from a consortium of backers, including Timur Turlov, as well as contributions from the esteemed Aloqa Ventures and Uzcard Ventures funds.
Notably, CerebraAI operates as a resident of both the Astana Hub and the Astana International Financial Center, positioning itself within key innovation and financial ecosystems.
