The Taliban has strongly denounced the bombing of a hospital in Gaza, labeling it a crime against humanity, as per the official statement from the Taliban government.
They called upon people, governments worldwide, human rights organizations, the United Nations, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to take action to prevent any future Israeli acts of terror. The Taliban further emphasized that if such acts of terror and brutality persist, the situation in the region could deteriorate and spiral out of control, leading to adverse repercussions for the nations in the region and across the world.
During an Israeli airstrike on the evening of October 17, hundreds of Palestinians were killed or injured at Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City. The church within the hospital had provided shelter to Palestinians who had fled their homes due to Israeli attacks. This attack on Al-Ahli Hospital received condemnation from Turkey, Arab League countries, the World Health Organization, and the European Union's representative, Charles Michel. Additionally, Russia and the United Arab Emirates requested an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council on October 18 in response to the hospital attack in Gaza.
