The National Olympic Committee reported that Oksana Chusovitsina, a gymnast from Uzbekistan, has won a gold medal in gymnastics at the World Challenge Cup series held in Türkiye.
The voting results were as follows:
Oksana Chusovitina (Uzbekistan) with 13,067 points, Bengisu Yildiz (Türkiye) and Cheren Biner (Türkiye) both with 12,950 points.
The Mersin World Challenge Cup marks the fourth out of six events in the FIG 2023 World Challenge Cup series. Upcoming events include Szombathely (HUN) on 8-10 September and the final event taking place inside the 2024 Olympic venue in Paris (FRA) on 16-17 September.
