Representatives of the Uzbekistan Embassy in Sweden have recently met with the management of the country's state-owned "Swedavia Airports" and Germany-based "Aviareps" to discuss the possibility of launching flights on the Stockholm-Tashkent-Stockholm route, Dunyo reports.
The Embassy and the companies exchanged views on the viability of launching an air service between the two countries and other economic aspects.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue their bilateral cooperation and engage in further negotiations with the responsible authorities of Uzbekistan.
Swedavia Airports is a state-owned company that manages all airports in Sweden. It is involved in developing the country's transport industry, civil aviation, and cargo transportation.
Aviareps, on the other hand, is a corporation based in Germany that has been operating in 58 countries since 1994. It is primarily involved in aviation and tourism.
