During an interview, Brazilian President Lula da Silva expressed his dissatisfaction with the food served at receptions in European countries. The video of the interview can be found on the politician's YouTube channel.
Lula da Silva mentioned having had lunch with French President Emmanuel Macron and Italian leader Sergio Mattarella, but he was disappointed with the food he received, stating that he was served very small portions. He explained that he has difficulty adapting to such small quantities as he is accustomed to consuming larger amounts of food. Lula da Silva acknowledged that his desire for more food might be considered greedy, but he personally prefers having ample portions.
Additionally, he admitted to missing traditional Brazilian dishes like rabada (stewed oxtail with vegetables) and galinhada (chicken and rice) while traveling.
The President of Brazil recently visited Europe, with various engagements during his trip. On June 21, he met with the Pope at the Vatican, had a meeting with Mattarella in Rome, and then traveled to France to participate in a summit focused on a new global financial pact.
