Poland's President, Andrzej Duda, paid an unexpected visit to Kyiv on June 28, where he will hold a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The visit coincided with Ukraine's Constitution Day celebrations.
The discussions between the two leaders will focus on the situation at the front lines, particularly highlighting concerns over the potential threat of a Russian attack on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
Additionally, preparations for the upcoming NATO summit in Vilnius on July 11-12 will be on the agenda. Earlier in April, President Zelensky visited Warsaw, receiving the Order of the White Eagle and assurance of support from Polish officials for increased defence capabilities and security guarantees from NATO.
Furthermore, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda also arrived in Kyiv today for an unannounced visit, with scheduled talks with President Zelensky anticipated.
