On June 19, Reuters reported that a Florida court has barred the publishing of information used as evidence in the prosecution of former US President Donald Trump.
Trump is facing 37 charges related to the removal of secret information from the White House and obstruction of justice.
"The evidence, along with any information arising from it, is not to be disclosed to the public or news media, or distributed on any news or social media platform without prior notice and consent of the United States or court approval," the statement stated.
As a result, the petition submitted by the prosecutor's office was allowed by the Federal Court for the Southern District of Florida. According to the court decision, it is all of the unclassified evidence that the prosecution supplied to the defense in preparation for the trial.
Donald Trump is facing allegations in two separate criminal investigations, and after being held accountable for sexual abuse, he was required to pay millions of dollars to a writer. He is also being investigated for his efforts to overturn his election defeat in 2020.
