Russia-Iran relations
Partnership between Russia and Iran is growing stronger, with a focus on direct trade in energy, food, and weaponry, circumventing Western countries and sanctions.
Additionally, both countries are collaborating on the construction of a railway that will serve as an alternative to the Suez Canal in the global trade route. The Rasht-Astara railway is seen as a crucial link in a corridor connecting India, Iran, Russia, Azerbaijan, and other nations through rail and sea transportation.
