Eleven people died when a collapsing floor plunged them into a stairway leading to a well at a temple in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India, on March 30.
The accident occurred around noon during the 'Ram Navami' Hindu festival celebrations at the Beleshwar Mahadev Jhulelal Temple when devotees offered prayers during a ritual.
"Unfortunately, eleven bodies have been recovered so far," Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said.
"We were able to save nineteen people. Unfortunately, one was in critical condition; eighteen are safe," he added.
