A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck Tajikistan on March 12 at 20:26 sending waves into two regions of Uzbekistan. The Center for Seismoprognostic Monitoring reports.
The epicentre of the earthquake was 260 km southwest of Tashkent.
The magnitude of the earthquake in Uzbekistan is as follows:
- 3 points, 63 kilometers in Samarkand region.
- 2-3 points, 93 kilometers in Jizzakh region.
This is the second earthquake that befell Tajikistan on March 12 at 14:32 Tashkent time with 4.0 magnitude.
