A fire broke out in the territory of the state forest and hunting farm "Qalgansir" in the Syrdarya district, the Ministry of Natural Resources has reported. On March 7 of this year, a working group consisting of the employees of the Syrdarya regional office of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan and relevant official organizations conducted studies.
Reportedly, some 10 hectares of land belonging to the "Qalgansir" state forest and hunting farm were set on fire. Existing ornamental trees on 2 hectares of land were inspected appropriately, and it was found that 294 ornamental trees of 4 types have stopped growing, and 217 ornamental trees of 4 kinds have been seriously damaged. The damage caused to the flora amounted to nearly 495mn USZ. A total of 311.7 hectares of field land was burned.
Preliminary calculations were made on the circumstances that caused the fire to decrease the creditworthiness of the fertile layer of the earth, and the amount of damage was determined at over 295mn UZS. According to the above cases, the documents are drawn and submitted to law enforcement agencies.
