Last year, 43 children who were left without parental care abroad were brought back to Uzbekistan. Fatima Madrahimova, the representative of the Oliy Majlis on Human Rights, the head of the information service informs.
According to her, the representative for children's rights cooperates extensively with the Ministry of Internal Affairs to return children who were left without parental care abroad to Uzbekistan. In 2022, a total of 37 children from Russia, 4 children from Kazakhstan, and 2 minors from Turkey - a total of 43 children - were brought back to Uzbekistan.
It is noted that at the moment, a total of 139 family orphanages have been established in the country, where 822 children are being educated.
