In 2023, 112 children with spinal muscular atrophy will be provided with medicines in Uzbekistan.
More than 250 hearing-impaired children will undergo cochlear implantation surgeries, and 132 children will undergo speech processor replacement.
Also, the issuance of temporary incapacity for work forms and other medical certificates in Uzbekistan will be gradually transferred to electronic forms by the end of the year. Starting from January 1, 2024, it will be prohibited to request temporary disability certificates and other medical certificates in paper form.
