A separate passage for the transportation of perishable products will be opened at the Dostuk checkpoint on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan reports.
The parties agreed to conduct monitoring at the checkpoint on February 20-21 to prepare the opening of the passage.
Uzbekistan also expressed interest in importing Kyrgyz trout after the Kyrgyz side provides the proposal on the fish trade.
