Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov meet with the Head of the EU Delegation, Ambassador Charlotte Adriaen, UzA reported.
The two sides reviewed the implementation of the new Multi-Annual Indicative Program 2021-2024 for Uzbekistan, under which €76mn was allocated.
The parties discussed issues of strengthening trade, economic and investment ties, interaction in light of Uzbekistan's WTO accession, and other areas of mutual interest, the press service of the government department states.
Reportedly, the growth dynamics of bilateral trade were discovered as its volume increased by 15.7% in 2022, reaching $4.4bn, including due to Uzbekistan's GSP+ status. The top five EU countries in trade with Uzbekistan include Germany, Lithuania, Italy, Poland, and France.
