Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Bakhrom Ashrafkhanov held a virtual meeting with the mayor of the Chirakchin district of Kashkadarya region as part of the efforts aimed at assisting the official and business circles of the Central Asian republic in establishing cooperation with potential partners in Azerbaijan, Dunyo reports.

Reportedly, the mayor presented detailed information on the economic, investment, and tourism potential of the Chirakchin district, noting the interest in attracting Azerbaijan’s investments and best practices in the sphere of agricultural production and processing, manufacture of building materials, and other fields.

Following the meeting, it was agreed to jointly organize a visit of representatives of Azerbaijan’s large business to the Chirakchin district of Kashkadarya region in the first quarter of 2023 to discuss promising projects of mutually beneficial cooperation.
