According to the State Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan’s automaker monopoly, UzAuto Motors, manufactured 90,239 Cobalt model cars in January-November 2022 which is an exponential surge of 47.8 per cent compared to the corresponding period in 2021.
The number of cars produced by month:
- in January – 3,393 units;
- in February – 7,394 units;
- in March – 8,405 units;
- in April – 9,498 units;
- small - 10,226 pieces;
- in June – 10,468 units;
- in July – 3,519 units;
- in August – 7,757 units;
- in September – 9,156 units;
- in October – 11,495 units;
- in November – 8,928 units.
However, the car producer issued an official statement noting that “the anomalous growth of demand for cars in Uzbekistan and the increase in global problems” forced the monopoly to stop signing the agreements.
