The rotation was made in connection with his appointment as the chairman of the court of Namangan region.

Alisher Usmanov had been working as the deputy state adviser to the President of Uzbekistan on the protection of citizens' rights, control, and coordination of work with the appeals of individuals and legal entities before taking his new post.
