Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment on Monday (December 5) held talks with US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Jonathan Henick. The parties reflected on the potential of the strategic partnership dialogue and the commitment of the two countries to continue close cooperation on the regional agenda that includes the C5+1 initiative.
Particular attention was drawn to the current process of Uzbekistan’s accession to the World Trade Organization, referring to reducing the state's role in the economy, improving customs administration, and ensuring intellectual property rights.
