Houses in the border areas of the Tashkent district with Kazakhstan will be demolished and border fortification facilities will be built.
48 homes and non-residential facilities in the Tashkent district of Tashkent region bordering Kazakhstan are being demolished. The press service of the region’s municipality reports.
The decision of the Tashkent region’s khokim "On compensation for damages caused to individuals and legal entities by administering an eminent domain in the Tashkent region" envisages demolishing 48 homes and non-residential facilities located in the border area of Tashkent district to build frontier fortification facilities such as fences, border roads, bridges and other objects.
According to the document, the homeowners will be offset 66 billion soums.
