November 29. First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Furqat Sidikov received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the United States of America Jonathan David Hennick.
The diplomats touched upon the current state of Uzbek-American strategic partnership relations and development prospects, including organizational aspects related to the Strategic Partnership Dialogue meeting between the states.
The ambassador noted the readiness of the US administration to continue providing financial, technical aid and all-around assistance in the fight against the pandemic. The parties talked about the relations within the "C5+1" format.
The US envoy highly appreciated Uzbekistan's efforts to help the Afghan people and implement infrastructure projects.
Mikela Meredith, director of the mission of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Uzbekistan, also participated in the meeting.
