Social media spread the video showing the act of humiliation of the chairman of ‘Armugon’ mahalla of Tashkent’s Yakkasaray district towards a disabled person. The media reports that the chairman was fired.
In the video, 59-year-old Azzam Kadirov catches up with the disabled man, who is reported not to have a permanent residence permit, walking back and kicking him. The 49-year-old man falls on the asphalt. After that, the chairman quietly leaves without assisting the lying person.
Azzam Kadirov was dismissed from his post on November 28, 2022, for actions that do not correspond to his duties, the district administration notes.
According to the Tashkent police department, the incident occurred on November 27 at about 12:30 on the street of the Small Ring Road in the Yakkasaray district.
On the above fact, law enforcement officers drew up a protocol under Article 183 ('petty hooliganism') of the Code of Administrative Responsibility. The case will go to court.
