According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers "On making changes and additions to some decisions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the expansion of opportunities for young people to acquire modern knowledge and skills", the new procedure for allocating consumer loans for the purpose of purchasing a computer for young people has been approved.
From November 1, 2022, "Khalq Bank", "Aloka Bank" and "Mikrokreditbank" based on the certificate who have successfully completed training courses in the last 6 months will be eligible to have consumer loans in the amount of no more than 8 million soums.
According to the order:
- A citizen of Uzbekistan or a non-citizen under the age of 31, who has successfully completed training courses within the framework of the "One Million Programmer" project, as well as being a student or graduate of an IT-park resident (from 14 to 16 years old on behalf of the person, his representative) can apply to any state service center 6 months from the issuance of the relevant certificate, attaching the certificate;
- The Youth Affairs Agency verifies the specified certificate within 5 working days, issues a certificate on payment of compensation when the information is confirmed, and automatically submits the list of applicants to the bank;
The document was published in the national database of legal documents and entered into force on October 26.
